How much memory does MonXA support?
- MonXA only
supports up to a maximum of 32KB of user code download. MonXA
resides from 0x00000 to 0x07FFF AND 0x10000 to ~0x102FF in the XA
code space. As a result of the MonXA code at 0x10000, there is no
way to enable more SRAM in CODE SPACE for user download. If you
must have more than 32KB of user code space, the only option is to
utilize the Tasking Crossview Pro ROM Monitor/Debugger (XVW) in
conjunction with the Tasking EDE Package. This provides up to 96KB
of CODE SPACE download. If you need more DATA SPACE SRAM, then you
would need to re-program the PLD (at U3) to enable the SRAM from
0x10000 to 0x20000 in DATA SPACE (in addition to 0x00000 to
0x07FFF).
