This is a screen capture of a section of a PWB where there is a high concentration of surface mount components on both sides of the PWB. Components with yellow outlines are on the top side and components with dark blue outlines are on the bottom side. Please note that this PWB is a development board and is not meant for volume production, as evident by the different directions the bottom SMT components are arranged. Normally, bottom-side SMT components would ALL be arranged in the same direction to allow wave-soldering. |
