On 2/20/10 darren asked, “I purchased the FDI ARM-57TS-3250. It worked fine until the first time I installed the LTIB and generated my new rootfs and kernel. Since then I am stuck with the following error.
Kernel panic – not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(1,0)
Does anybody know what I am doing wrong?”

You can download binaries from (File Archived, Contact us through https://www.teamfdi.com/contact/ for the archived file). For now, I would recommend trying to use only the rootfs.ext2.gz file and verifying that works first.
Everything you are doing looks correct.
Here is a snap shot of the environmental variables in u-boot we’re using:
