Overview
The 4.2″ PCAP Touchscreen LCD (Dev Kit) – SuRG42-CP-DK – adds a perfect mix of a 4.2″ Sunlight Readable display, long battery life, easy to code graphics and a high performance MCU to FDI’s SuRG® product family. Featuring a crystal-clear, sunlight readable display that eliminates the need for a backlight resulting in ultra low power consumption (See table below for details).
The system contains a high performance 32-Bit MCU with best in class power management making SuRG the optimal choice for outdoor industrial applications. This unit contains a PCAP Touchscreen with a PWM-controllable front-light, allowing for usage even in environments with low ambient lighting.
Get into production faster as FDI offers low cost customization services for customer specific hardware, software or packaging applications at volumes of 500 units or more.

System current consumption fluctuates based on peripheral utilization and display writes.
Characterization shows a current variation of ±6% (Idle) and ±11% (Active) relative to reported averages.
