Answered:
The RJ45 pin out is:
Pin 1 – MODE
Pin 2 – RXD (Input to USB-ICP, for ISP only)
Pin 3 – GND
Pin 4 – TXD (Output from USB-ICP, for ISP only)
Pin 5 – VCC_ICP (for ICP), or RESET (for 80C51 ISP)
Pin 6 – RESETn (for ICP) or ISP Entry (for LPC2K & 80C51 ISP)
Pin 7 – PCL (for ICP), RESETn (for LPC2K ISP)
Pin 8 – PDA (for ICP), unused for ISP
MODE is an input pin to USB-ICP. If HIGH (3 – 5 V), it puts the USB-ICP into ISP/serial mode. If LOW or disconnected, the USB-ICP is put into ICP mode. The unit must be placed in ISP mode in order for TXD/RXD to pass serial communications to the target. VCC_ICP only supplies power to target if in ICP mode.
If you want the unit to only to provide serial communications, power up your target and put 3 – 5V on the MODE pin. The unit will then provide serial communications on RXD/TXD. Leave the other pins disconnected unless you need RSTn.
