Future Designs, Inc. is proud to announce its newest offering in its series of display products, called ELI. ELI, or Easy LCD Interface, offers a family of products that allows for a simple plug and play interface to Single Board Computers such as the Raspberry Pi or BeagleBone Black. ELI is a simple and easy to use solution, requiring only a 12VDC power connection and a HDMI video input. ELI takes the frustration out of interfacing a SBC (Single Board Computer) to an LCD display in an embedded or industrial product application and offers a simple plug and play solution.
The ELI Family is available off the shelf in a variety of industry standard sizes, ranging from 7.0” up to 15.0”. The ELI Family is able to support display resolutions up to WUXGA (1920 x 1200). FDI can support custom ELI configurations for application-specific purposes, with varying specifications such as extended temperature, high brightness, or special touchscreen options or overlays.
ELI is designed to work with any SBC, such as the Raspberry Pi, or BeagleBone Black. ELI is also designed for compatibility with platforms such as Android and Linux as well. “We are very excited to offer this new family of instant display solutions,” said FDI President Kent Lowman. “There has been an increased customer demand for this type of Easy LCD Interface product, and FDI is proud to finally offer it to the market.”
