Huntsville, AL (November 9, 2015) — Future Designs, Inc. (FDI) President Kent Lowman talked live with radio host Peggy Smedley, the “Voice of IoT”, at Renesas Devcon 2015. The interview featured discussion on design considerations for embedded IoT solutions and the importance of US-based manufacturing for the health of the economy and long term competitiveness of the United States. In addition to her widespread recognition as an expert in connected devices, Peggy is an advocate for US manufacturing and author of the book, “Mending Manufacturing: How America Can Manufacture Its Survival.”
The interview took place on the Renesas DevCon Exhibit Show Floor on October 13, 2015 just hours after Renesas announced details of Renesas SynergyTM.
