(Huntsville, Alabama — October 18, 2012)
Future Designs, Inc. has introduced V2.02 of their popular open source μEZ® Rapid Development Software Platform with support for the RX62N and RX63N families of 32-bit microcontrollers (MCUs) from Renesas.
The μEZ platform works in conjunction with FreeRTOS and provides customers with an extensive library of open source software, drivers, and processor support – all under a common framework. μEZ development works on the premise of ”design once, reuse many times”. μEZ allows companies to focus on innovation and on their own value-added applications while minimizing development time and maximizing software reuse.
“We are pleased to provide uEZ / FreeRTOS support for the powerful new Renesas RX microcontroller families and we see significant customer interest in these new devices”, said Kent Lowman, Director at Future Designs, Inc. The µEZ / FreeRTOS platform will be highlighted at the Renesas Developers’ Conference in Anaheim, CA on October 22-25, 2012. FDI will be presenting a session on the uEZ/FreeRTOS Rapid Development Platform running on the YRDKRX63N Demonstration Kit, which was co-designed and produced for Renesas by FDI. Space is limited and registration is required. If you would like to attend this session, please register for Renesas DevCon here: https://devcon.renesas.com/global/.
