The ELF or ELI Functional Tester is used to verify the functionality of an ELI (Easy LCD Interface) production unit during volume manufacturing and to send a summary of those test results to our cloud based FCT Summary portal.
ELF units test the ELI LCD display properties, Touchscreen functionality and calibration and backlight brightness.
The ELF runs a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B and uses software including a combination of Python, Linux Bash and C++.
These RPi based ELF Testers have been used to verify tens of thousands of production ELI units with First Pass yield above 95% over many years of reliable operation.
