FDI recently attended the University of Alabama in Huntsville Career Fair, held on September 10th, 2014 at the University Fitness Center on campus. While expanding operations, FDI is seeking to hire the type of motivated and intelligent students continually produced at UAH. FDI spoke with and reviewed resumes from many qualified candidates at the Career Fair, and looks forward to working with promising UAH students well into the future.

Having been founded by several UAH Engineering graduates, FDI has historically hired many students and recent graduates from the university. Several current FDI employees are UAH graduates or current students at UAH, and the company continues to hold strong ties with the university.

FDI has a strong history of working with UAH students to ensure that they are successful both academically and professionally. FDI has worked with students to set flexible work hours around their semester class schedules, allowing students to devote time to mid-terms, projects and finals.
Positions are available for both part-time and full-time work with FDI. The company is currently seeking qualified candidates in the Huntsville area for the positions of Electronics Hardware Engineer, Principal / Senior Software Engineer, Lead / Manager – Software Engineering, Product Engineer, and Electronics Manufacturing Support Technician.
