On 8/10/10 JK asked, “I recently bought the USB-ICP-LPC2K for Flash Magic programming as outlined on pg 25 of SOMDIMM-LPC2478 User Manual. However, connector J3 on SOMDIMM-LPC2478 is not a mating connector to the cables provided with USB-ICP-LPC2K.”

      Answered:

All kits are now being shipped with a JLink Segger Lite for JTAG programming.
SOMDIMM-LPC2478’s are no longer populated with the J1 connector necessary for doing ISP (USB-ICP/FlashMagic) programming.
If you wish to pursue ISPing, however, you can put the connector on. The part (SM06B-SHLS-TF) is currently available at https://www.futureelectronics.com/en/Technologies/Product.aspx?ProductID=SM06BSHLSTFLFSNJST2440840
