On 9/16/10 Wiggerl asked, “I tried to flash the hex file of the UEZ Demosoftware V 1.05 on my ARM-57TS-LPC2478 Board via USB-ICP and CA-ARM7DIMM Cable but i always fail during the flash process.
The following devices are used:
Evaluationboard: ARM-57TS-LPC2478 Rev. 1.1
Flash Device: USB-ICP Version 1.07
Flash Cable: CA-ARM7DIMM
Flashprogramm: Flash Magic V 5.6
UEZ Demosoftware: hex file V 1.05
The programm writes down “Unable to communicate. (transmit/receive)”.
I tried it with Baud Rate: 9600 and 19200 but both didn’t work.
I also checked the settings for the USB Serial Port driver:
bits per second: 9600 or 19200
data bits: 8
parity: none
stop bits: 1
flow control: none
May you can help me what’s wrong with this flashing process.”

Did you verify the correct COM port setting (i.e. COM1 vs COM2, etc)
You will need to examine your computer properties for the proper COM port number.
